Jiban Debnath, belongs to a poor family, who took training under PMEGP scheme in Hatchery activities. After completion of the training he has applied for loan under the scheme and set up his own Hatchery unit with the financial help from bank at Gandhigram, Agartala. Since then he never looked back and he employed three (3) persons in his unit. Now, he is planning to expand his unit.

Archana Mog, is thankful to the “Learn and Earn” Scheme of Ministry of Minority Affairs which has helped her to complete training in Sewing machine Operator and immediately to get a job with Unitex Apparels Pvt. Ltd, Bangaluru with a salary of Rs.6,500 initially. It’s being 2 years that she is working with this organization and now her salary has increased to Rs 11,000/- per month.

Babita Chanda, is a house wife, who took training under PMEGP scheme in Cane and Bamboo manufacturing works. After completion of the training she has applied for loan under the scheme and set up a Cane and Bamboo product manufacturing unit with the financial help from bank at Nandanagar, Agartala. Since last two years the business is running well.

A story of determination to prove that disabled person can also do anything in life. He is an inspiration for all those who are afraid of dreaming and often don’t take the first step - a skills programme - towards a meaningful career.

Biresh Ranjan Biswas was an unemployed youth, who took training under PMEGP scheme in Steel furniture manufacturing activity. After completion of the training he has applied for loan under the scheme and set up his own steel furniture unit with the financial help from bank at Khowai. Since then he never looked back and he employed seven (7) persons in his unit.
